Our Profile
TONG HUANG TRADING commenced as a family business enterprise in 1972 which was founded and incorporated by the late Mr Tan Hang Chew and his eldest son Datuk Tan Teng Pong. This company was then registered as TONG HUANG TRADING SDN. BHD on November 2nd. 1978. The company is currently managed by Datuk Tan Teng Pong as Chairman with Managing Director Mr Trevor T.S. Tan handling and assisting in day to day affairs and matters.
The company's original and initial priorities were the importing and trading of sundry goods and products. The list includes rice types and varieties, local and overseas produced flour and starch. Other listed commodities range from fresh onions and garlic inclusive of flakes, potatoes, fresh ginger, vegetables (dried and assorted) and fruits, dried chillies, cane and coconut sugar, raw kernels, dates, Lungkow vermicelli, glutinous rice flour, rice sticks, noodles and canned foodstuffs, fruit and marine products.
The company is equipped with computerization, technology-based sorting, grading and packing applications and backed by a highly skilled and experienced workforce. TONG HUANG TRADING SDN. BHD., is proudly carving a niche for itself both on the domestic and international fronts with versed trading links with China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Turkey, Egypt, Holland, Denmark, Canada, the United States, New Zealand and Australia.
As a leading and progressive agro and marine-based produce, products and foodstuffs marketing, and supplier enterprise, we always underscore a reputation in the supply of premium and quality products always. We are also capable of offering customers and clientele the flexibility of a range of delivery options inclusive of convenient delivery services, handling of pre-well dried quality for fresh agro produce and products as well as specified customized packaging.
We have also gradually increased our commodity range in tandem with customer and consumer rising affluence and greater exposure to quality produce and products. Also enhancing is our customer and consumer base while servicing its multiplicity of numbers, food and industrial manufacturers, supermarkets, hypermarkets, wholesalers, and grocery stores.
At the same time, we continue to supply the best quality produce and products while exercising the most stringent industry quality assurance, measures, and innovations. All ensuring that our diverse product array meets the highest standard of work procedures and quality control measures when moving out of our warehouse and cold rooms.
